GLOSSARY

What is touchpoint?

DEFINITION

A touchpoint is any point where a person meets your business, such as a search result, a review, your website, an email, a phone call or the service itself.

Mapping touchpoints often reveals inconsistencies between what different channels say. Nielsen Norman Group includes touchpoints and channels in its definition of a journey map.
