Do I really own the code?
You own the code of your site, and we deliver documentation with it. Hosting is flexible: we can run it for you, or it can sit in your name, as agreed in your contract.
What if I stop working with Webtec?
Your site keeps running. Ongoing services such as SEO, AEO and care are optional. If you leave, another developer can take over using the codebase and documentation we hand you.
Who pays for hosting and the CMS?
Hosting depends on what we agree: if we run it, it is charged as set in your contract; if it sits in your name, you pay the provider directly. The CMS account is yours, so you pay that provider directly. We list every expected cost in your quote, so there are no surprises.
Does anything stay with Webtec?
Our research methods, templates and know-how are how we work, so they stay with us. Everything your site needs to run, and everything specific to your business, is yours.
Can I give access to another agency?
Yes. You control the accounts, so you decide who has access, and when.
