RICE scoring ranks ideas by Reach times Impact times Confidence, divided by Effort. Intercom published the method in 2018.
Reach is the number of people affected in a period, Impact is scored on a scale from 0.25 to 3, Confidence is 100, 80 or 50 percent and Effort is measured in person-months. Adding reach stops a small idea from outranking one that touches many people.
