GLOSSARY

What is Google Search Console?

DEFINITION

Google Search Console is Google's free tool that shows how your site appears in search: clicks, impressions, indexing status and Core Web Vitals. It is the main source for diagnosing SEO.

Its Performance report lists queries and pages with clicks, impressions, click-through rate and average position. Its Page indexing report and URL Inspection show whether and why a page is indexed.
