Smart Bidding is Google’s set of automated bidding strategies that use machine learning to optimize for conversions or conversion value in each auction. Examples are Target CPA and Target ROAS.
It depends on accurate conversion tracking and enough data. Tracking the wrong action teaches the automation to find more of the wrong action.
