GLOSSARY

What is heatmap?

DEFINITION

A heatmap shows in colour where visitors click, tap or scroll on a page. It reveals which parts get attention and which are ignored.

A heatmap is an average, and it shows behaviour, not motive. Pair it with recordings, surveys or user tests to learn why.
