Google-Extended is a robots.txt control that lets you decide whether Google may use your content to train future Gemini models and for grounding in Gemini Apps. Google says it does not affect your inclusion in Google Search.
It has no separate user agent string, so it works only as a robots.txt token. It is not how you opt out of AI Overviews.
