GLOSSARY

What is Core Web Vitals?

DEFINITION

Core Web Vitals are three real-user measures of page experience: loading (LCP), responsiveness (INP) and visual stability (CLS). Good thresholds are 2.5 seconds, 200 milliseconds and 0.1.

They are measured at the 75th percentile of page loads, separately for mobile and desktop. Google says its ranking systems use them but that relevance still comes first.
