GLOSSARY

What is buyer persona?

DEFINITION

A buyer persona is a fictional but realistic description of a typical person who buys or uses your product, built from research. It shows goals, worries and how they decide.

Nielsen Norman Group says personas must be based on user research and should include only details that affect decisions. A business often needs two or three personas inside one ICP.
