A monthly supporter is a relationship. Does your site invite one?

SOUND FAMILIAR?

Notes we keep hearing from nonprofits.

Small budgets, short attention spans and no one to own the website. Here is what organisations tell us, and our reply to each.

  • POSTCARD FROM A NONPROFIT

Families compare you in minutes, on a phone.

They check price, outcomes and accreditation before they ever contact you. If the answers are not on the page, they close it.

    OUR REPLY

Program pages with price, entry requirements, outcomes with a method and the next date, in plain text.

    Website and copywriting
  • POSTCARD FROM A NONPROFIT

Enrollment runs on a calendar and the site is always behind it.

Deadlines, open days and fees change, and last year's dates are still live when the new cycle starts.

    OUR REPLY

A content calendar tied to your intakes, with every date and price checked before the season opens.

    Growth Manager
  • POSTCARD FROM A NONPROFIT

The parent decides, or the student decides, or both.

One page tries to talk to everyone and persuades nobody.

    OUR REPLY

A parent layer and a student layer on one set of facts, built from your admissions team's real conversations.

    Copywriting and branding
  • POSTCARD FROM A NONPROFIT

We are nervous about what we can claim.

Placement rates, earnings, accreditation and partner names are all regulated, and nobody on the team owns the wording.

    OUR REPLY

A claims register: every outcome statement, its evidence, its date and a person who checks it, reviewed by your counsel before launch.

    Copywriting and Growth Manager
  • POSTCARD FROM A NONPROFIT

    Enquiries arrive, then nothing happens.

A form goes to a shared inbox, the reply takes days and the family has already visited a rival.

    OUR REPLY

A short form, a booking path and tracking that shows how long a reply takes.

    Conversion and web tools
  • POSTCARD FROM A NONPROFIT

Our international pipeline depends on a few countries.

Demand shifts with policy and borders, and one market can fall quickly.

    OUR REPLY

Full-language pages and search work for each market you serve, with local price, visa and arrival information.

    SEO and AI search
  • POSTCARD FROM A NONPROFIT

Nobody can tell which marketing produced a student.

Reports show traffic, while enrollments come from phone calls, events and word of mouth.

    OUR REPLY

Tracking from the first click to the enrolled student, so spend follows what brings people in.

    Conversion and ads

FROM A FIRST LOOK TO A LASTING SUPPORTER

Meet people at every step of the giving path.

Most people do not give on the first visit. They move through five steps, and your website, emails and ads can meet them at each one.

  1. STEP 1 OF 5

    Find

“Which providers teach this near me or online?”

A page for the program, the place and the question, that search and AI can quote.

    SEO and AI search
  2. STEP 2 OF 5

    Trust

“Is this real, accredited and worth the money?”

Accreditation stated exactly, a clear price and outcomes with a method.

    Website and copywriting
  3. STEP 3 OF 5

    Visit

“Can I see the place and meet someone?”

An open day, info session or trial class that books in two taps.

    Conversion and ads
  4. STEP 4 OF 5

    Apply

“How hard is it to apply, and what happens next?”

A short first step, plain deadlines and a human who replies fast.

    Conversion
  5. STEP 5 OF 5

    Enrol

“Did I choose well, and what do I do now?”

A fast welcome, clear next steps and a reason to tell others.

APPEALS THAT WORK

Say what a gift actually does.

Donors give to a clear outcome, not to a general plea. Here is the difference a rewrite makes, in a sentence.

  • INSTEAD OF

95% of our graduates get jobs.

    SAY

Of the [number] graduates in the [year] cohort, [number] were employed in the field within [period]. Here is how we count.

A placement rate with no cohort, date or method is the claim regulators and the FTC look for first.

  • INSTEAD OF

    Fully accredited school.

    SAY

[Program] is accredited by [named body]. [Other programs] are not.

Accreditation claims must say what is accredited and by whom, and an unqualified claim is risky if any program is not covered.

  • INSTEAD OF

Our graduates work at the top companies.

    SAY

Graduates have joined [employers], among others. We have no formal agreement with these employers.

Naming employers implies a relationship. Say what is true, or leave the names out.

  • INSTEAD OF

Affordable tuition. Contact us for a quote.

    SAY

Tuition is [amount] for the full program, plus [fees]. Here is the aid we offer and the refund terms.

Families already doubt prices are fair, and a hidden price reads as a high one.

Illustrative examples. Placeholders in brackets are filled in with your real programmes and figures.

YOUR GROWTH MANAGER

Your institution gets a growth manager who understands education.

A growth manager is the person accountable for growing your institution online. Yours is briefed on how families and students choose a school or course: the parent and student split, the enrollment calendar, open days and info sessions, application friction, international demand, the rules on outcome and accreditation claims and how AI search is changing the shortlist. They are your number one contact, alongside your project manager or specialist, and they give you something your leadership team can read every month.

ALREADY KNOWS

What your growth manager brings on day one

  • How parents and students split the decision, and what each needs to see
  • How an enrollment cycle works, and why dates and prices must be current
  • What the Department of Education and FTC rules say about outcome and accreditation claims
  • Why student and child data needs care in forms, ads and testimonials
  • How open days, info sessions and trial classes turn research into applications
  • Where application forms lose people
  • How to serve international families in their language, and why one market is a risk
  • How AI assistants answer worth-it and near-me questions about courses
  • Owns the plan

Decides what to do next, and in what order, against your intake dates.

  • Meets you every month

A monthly meeting to review enquiries, bookings and applications and agree the priorities.

  • Recommends, honestly

Clear advice, including when a claim, a campaign or a page is not worth the risk.

  • Brings in specialists

Recommends and coordinates our SEO, ads, website, copy and brand specialists when you choose to buy the work.

The Growth Manager Advisor level gives direction and advice, not hands-on implementation. Many institutions start there and add services when they are ready. Established institutions can keep a growth manager on its own.

QUESTIONS

Questions nonprofits ask us.

Book a call
What does a growth manager actually do for a school or training provider?

Your growth manager owns the plan for growing your institution online. They review your enquiries, bookings and applications each month, recommend what to do next and in what order against your intake dates, meet you monthly and bring in our specialists when you choose to buy the work. At the Advisor level they give direction and advice rather than doing the hands-on work. Many providers start there, and established ones can keep one on its own.

Do we have to buy every service?

No. Start with a growth manager, or with any single service, and add more when it makes sense. We would rather you buy the one thing that fits than a package you do not need. The free audit tells us where to begin.

How much does it cost?

It depends on which services fit your institution and your budget, so we scope it after the free audit instead of guessing. We will tell you the cost before you commit. For SEO we recommend six months because it takes time to compound, and we report every month so you and your leadership team can see what is happening.

Can you guarantee enrollments or rankings?

No, and be wary of anyone who does. Search engines and AI assistants change, and your results also depend on your programs, your reputation and how quickly you reply to families. We guarantee the work: a documented plan, a growth manager and project manager, monthly reporting and honest advice about what is and is not working.

Do you know the rules on outcome and accreditation claims?

We research the rules that apply to your institution, including Department of Education misrepresentation rules, FTC guidance on job and earnings claims, state authorization and privacy rules for students and children, and build around them. We flag risks before anything goes live. We are not lawyers, so your counsel has final sign-off.

Can you work with our admissions team and our application system?

Yes. We build around the systems you already use, from your enquiry platform to your application portal, and we recommend changes where the path loses families. Send us your site and the free audit will show how it looks to a family today and where we would start.

What do you need from us to start?

Your website address, access to analytics and your enquiry and application systems if you have them, and a short call about your programs, your families and your goals. The audit itself is free.
